The Fourth Five Great Avenues Flower Festival is scheduled from April 1 to April 30. During the Qingming Festival period, visitors can enjoy the full bloom of forsythia, magnolia, Prunus tomentosa, and cherry blossoms. Notable spots include forsythia near Xikang Road on Dali Road, magnolias in Munan Park, and Prunus tomentosa on Dali Road. By mid-April, the crabapple trees lining Dali Road will also be in full bloom, creating a pink floral sea that enchants visitors with its delicate, snow-like petals. Additionally, flowers on Munan Road, Changde Road, and Chongqing Road will bloom after the Qingming Festival, providing a romantic floral journey and a must-visit destination for photography enthusiasts.
May: The Fifth Five Great Avenues International Cultural and Arts Festival
From April 29 to May 1, the Fifth Five Great Avenues International Cultural and Arts Festival will be held at Minyuan Plaza. The festival will feature the "Belt and Road" national folk dance performances with cultural troupes from Poland, Slovakia, Montenegro, and other European countries, offering citizens and tourists a taste of rich European cultural heritage. Simultaneously, a smaller festival will take place at Xianong Courtyard, featuring performances by folk dance groups from Southeast Asian countries like Sri Lanka and the Philippines. The event will also include the "Jianliang Market," a creative cultural market. Tianjin Foreign Studies University will host the Fifth Five Great Avenues International Cultural and Arts Festival and the International Cultural Festival on April 27, with international students from over 30 countries participating in performances and creative product markets.

The 2018 Five Great Avenues International Photography Biennial will be held from June 15 to June 18, during the Dragon Boat Festival. The first part of the event, "Beautiful Tianjin - Charming Five Great Avenues" photography competition, will feature submissions announced in Tianjin Daily starting mid-March. Award-winning and shortlisted works will be displayed in Minyuan Plaza. The second part will showcase a special exhibition of works by renowned photographers from China and abroad, organized by Xinhua News Agency and the European Travel Commission. Professional photographers will conduct photo shoots in the Five Great Avenues area from late April to early May, with their selected works displayed during the biennial.
June to September: The Second Minyuan Plaza "City Memory" Cultural and Arts Season
From June 22 to September 22, the Second Minyuan Plaza "City Memory" Cultural and Arts Season will feature weekly performances every Friday and Saturday evening at the Minyuan Plaza sunken plaza. Nearly 30 performances are planned, including elegant string quartet concerts and various cultural and artistic shows on Saturdays and Sundays, creating a continuous cultural atmosphere throughout the summer.
October: The Fifteenth Five Great Avenues Tourism Festival
